About SignatureLab
The Mission
SignatureLab exists to give suppressor enthusiasts and consumers access to objective, data-driven flash intensity measurements. Suppressor marketing is full of vague claims. We put them on the bench and measure what actually comes out the muzzle.
The Lab
Tests are conducted using a USB oscilloscope connected to a calibrated photodiode sensor. Each suppressor is mounted to a standardized host platform, fired under controlled conditions, and the resulting light pulse is captured and normalized to a 0–100 scale. Lower scores mean less residual flash.
Independence
SignatureLab accepts no manufacturer sponsorships, free samples, or compensation of any kind from suppressor companies. All suppressors are purchased at retail or funded by the community through the testing queue. Results are published as-is.
Manufacturers
We offer paid testing services for manufacturers who want their products independently benchmarked. Results are published publicly — we don't offer private reports. Contact us to learn more.
